Eusoff Hall Exposure Camp Closure Video

Eusoff Hall first ever exposure camp, Yellow Fever, has ended but that does not mean this blog will be going out! Many thanks to all the freshmen who came and supported the camp. We hope you guys enjoyed the camp as much as the organizing committee / programmers did. Do look out for future activities all the way til the real orientation! The programmers are now planning for better and more fun activities in the future!
For now, do enjoy the closure video we did for the camp.! It would be our tribute to all your enthusiasm!

I'm sure some of you would be wondering why you should waste three days of your holiday in some hostel in university just "experiencing" the life there. Some of you are not even sure yet whether you'll be either accepted into hall or even NUS! But fear not! The exposure camp does not require you to be already accepted into hall or even NUS to sign up. Here's the top 5 reasons to join
Eusoff Hall Exposure Camp (EHEC):-
1. A great way to spend your time. If you're looking for something fun to do during the holidays and loathe the normal holiday camps out there, you might want to try EHEC for a whole new experience. And the camp will be organized by university students! It'll be a holiday camp like no other!
2. A chance to get to know new friends. As NUS is a global university, we have people all around the world signing up for the camp. What better way to go global?
3. It's cheap! It's 30 SGD for 3 days 2 night, almost everything included! (Just 1 or 2 meals out)

Well Camp Yellow Fever is just for you!
Organized by Eusoff Hall, we will provide you an opportunity to experience hostel living; the camaraderie of living with friends, the fun activities organized by our many committees, as well as the chance to talk to seniors to know more about living on campus, how to manage hall committiments, CCAs and academics, as well as more about Eusoff Hall.
Come down for Camp Yellow Fever: Wonderland/Underworld.
Date: May 24th - 26th
Registration Closing Date: 14th May
Cost: $30 (Registration Fee can be paid on the first day of the camp)
*Note: Application for Hall closes on 1st June for both Local and International Students

Myth: Eusoff Hall is a SPORTS HALL and you need to be a very good sportsperson to enter it
Fact: Eusoff Hall may be very good at sports, in fact we've been winning the Inter Hall Games for years now, but Eusoff Hall has also a very strong presence in other aspects such as -
a.) Dance
b.) Band
c.) Choir
d.) Drama

Which is the best Hall in NUS?

Eusoff Hall is undoubtably the Best Hall of Residence in NUS, with strengths in all areas: Sports, Performing Arts, Volunteerism and Technical Abilities.
If you are a sportsman or sportswoman, Eusoff is the best place in NUS to further develop your skills. With a host of committed athletes and skilled captains, Eusoff Hall has won the Inter-Hall Games (IHG) for the past few years, just recently being re-crowned the Overall IHG Champions, the Male IHG Champions, and narrowly missing the championship for the female teams.
If Performing Arts or Culture is more your style, at Eusoff, we have plenty of choices for you. Our bands have showed their prowess by dominating local band competitions (Sixology winning Stardust as well as the national level Yamaha Asian Beats, and was chosen to represent Singapore for the regional Yamaha Asian Beats, B Sharps winning Talentquest). In addition to performances within hall, as well as inter-hall collaborations such as Dance Uncensored and Dramafest, Eusoff also stages an annual Dance Production (DP), featuring our talented actors and dancers. This large scale performance is usually attended by prominent members of society and raises funds for different charities. Our Acapella and Choir is also very active, regularly performing gigs in and out of NUS, be it collaborating with the other halls (Amplitude), to carolling at hotels at Chrismas.
For those who have a passion for helping others, Eusoff even has its own volunteer corp (EVC) which recently organized a blood donation drive within Eusoff itselff. They have two main branches working with both the elderly and with Salvation Army. Eusoff also annually organizes a trip to Cambodia (Expeditions) to do community service; building toilets and wells for various villages.
If you are someone very good with skills such as IT, Photography or Videography, our media wing: EusoffWorks, is the best place for you. With professional equipments that few have the chance to handle, EusoffWorks provide opportunities for everyone; from the professional to beginners wanting to learn. Our audio crew: AudioWorks, provides similar opportunities to all.
And if you are someone who loves to plan activities, events and camps, Eusoff also has all you need, from organizing Open House (External Relations Committee - ERC), to internal hall performances (Cultural Events Management Committee - CEMC), to our annual D&D (D&D Committee), and not forgetting our Freshmen Orientation (EHOC).
